As the country's inaugural Advanced Clinical Doctor of Athletic Training (DAT) program, this curriculum enhances clinical practice for athletic trainers at all career levels.

The program delivers specialized expertise while refining professional clinical competencies for certified athletic trainers. Participants acquire hands-on clinical experience, including chances to perform groundbreaking research in the discipline.

Featuring an adaptable structure, the program blends online learning with in-person sessions. Students complete four-week summer residencies at the University of Idaho campus, followed by clinical placements at their preferred locations.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 grade scale equivalent to U.S. bachelor's degree.
Have earned a bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a recognized accrediting body, a ministry of education, or an official quality assurance organization in another country.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)- minimum overall score of 79
