The Graduate College of Social Work at the University of Houston and UT's School of Public Health provide a dual degree program designed to equip students for professions requiring expertise in both social work and public health. After admission, students must register for both the MSW program at the Graduate College of Social Work and the MPH program at UT's School of Public Health within twelve months. While the MSW program doesn't mandate GRE scores, they're optional for the MPH. Completing both degree programs typically requires about three years of full-time academic work.

Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
