Bachelor's Degree
A Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering demands completion of thirty (30) credit hours of authorized coursework for students admitted with a Bachelor's in Petroleum Engineering. Candidates holding an undergraduate degree in another engineering discipline (such as chemical, civil, electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering) must additionally complete twelve (12) credits of foundational courses. These preparatory courses equip students for success in the petroleum engineering graduate program but do not count toward the degree requirements. Note that these foundational courses do not substitute for an engineering bachelor's degree.
