The C.T. Bauer College of Business and Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston provide a joint degree program designed for students pursuing careers requiring expertise in both engineering and business disciplines. This accelerated pathway allows participants to earn both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Industrial Engineering more efficiently than pursuing each degree independently.
For the MIE/MBA program, students follow the standard MIE curriculum while having the flexibility to count up to four business courses from the Bauer College as electives. Upon fulfilling all academic requirements, graduates receive both degrees at the same time.
