The Master of Arts in World Cultures and Literatures offers a cutting-edge, cross-disciplinary graduate experience centered on cultural studies while providing specialized focus in specific languages and cultures. The curriculum explores contemporary themes including modern and postmodern thought, global interconnectedness, colonial histories and postcolonial realities, cross-border cultural exchanges, urban communities and diaspora populations, along with identity formation processes. The program integrates scholarly approaches to literature, cinema, visual arts, media, and gender analysis.
