BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING CAREER PATHS
Biomedical engineering students at UH's Cullen College of Engineering gain preparation for diverse career trajectories in medical technology, advanced academic studies, or professional fields including engineering, medicine, business, and law. The college operates a specialized Engineering Career Center that annually facilitates internship and employment opportunities for numerous students across the region. According to Payscale.com's 2022 compensation analysis, entry-level biomedical engineering graduates received an average starting salary of $69,209.
