The Department of Biology and Biochemistry provides Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts programs in Biology and Biochemistry, along with a collaborative B.S. in Mathematical Biology offered with the Mathematics Department. To earn a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in biology or biochemistry, students must meet these requirements:
No biology or biochemistry course graded below C- may serve as a prerequisite for higher-level courses in these disciplines,
Students accumulating over six credit hours below C- in biology or biochemistry courses cannot register for additional courses in these fields without written approval from the undergraduate advisor.
