The Mathematics Department at the University of Houston provides an outstanding setting for exploring mathematics and its practical uses. With roughly 10,000 students enrolled in math courses every semester, we're the biggest academic department on campus. Our program includes about 300 undergraduate majors and 80 graduate students. The faculty represents diverse backgrounds while maintaining strong research programs and dedication to teaching excellence.
