Our programs offer both comprehensive historical overviews and intimate seminar discussions. History classes frequently feature visiting experts or take place in unique settings like archives and museums. A key focus is developing analytical abilities through critical examination of texts, fostering research and writing skills that prove valuable across disciplines.

History graduates pursue diverse paths in education, public service, legal and medical fields, media, creative industries, corporate sectors, scientific research, and cultural institutions. Starting in the 2022/23 academic year, we've implemented specialized pathways within the History BA program. Students can now select an emphasis area from four options (Energy and Environment, Law and Public Policy, Public History, or Science, Medicine, and Technology) while fulfilling standard major requirements.
