The Master of Accounting (MAcc) program is a 30-credit curriculum (10 courses) offering advanced training in taxation, financial reporting, and auditing, preparing students for leadership roles across public practice, corporate, government, and related sectors. This program equips graduates with essential competencies for thriving in the evolving accounting profession. Earning the MAcc satisfies the 150-credit requirement for CPA licensure. Internships, career services, and additional resources enhance your graduate accounting experience. Accounting firms nationwide now prioritize hiring MAcc graduates over those with bachelor's degrees.
Students can enter the MAcc program through either the traditional application process or the accelerated 3/2 option. Most classes meet on weekday evenings (Monday-Thursday), accommodating work or internship schedules. The curriculum features five required courses and five electives, with focus areas available in Taxation or Financial Reporting/Auditing.
