The College of Engineering has introduced a new Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science (BSES) program, starting with a Biomedical Engineering concentration. Currently based in the Mechanical Engineering department, this degree aims to broaden student opportunities by delivering interdisciplinary education and addressing emerging fields.
Graduates will receive a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science with a Biomedical Engineering concentration. As a new program, the Engineering Science curriculum has not yet received ABET accreditation, which is the body that certifies engineering programs. Nevertheless, students can trust that the Engineering Science program will adhere to the same rigorous standards and procedures that have secured accreditation for our other offerings.
