The Department of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa fosters a collaborative learning and research atmosphere for students, faculty, and visiting scholars in computer science and information technology. Our goal is to develop creative thinkers prepared for careers across various computing disciplines while advancing pioneering research that serves Hawaii, the Pacific, and the world.
The Bachelor of Arts (BA) program enables students to blend computer science with another academic field. This degree may appeal to those with interests in diverse areas like biology, business, game development, visual arts, financial technology, languages, or other complementary subjects.
To earn the BA degree, students must fulfill the General Education Core requirements outlined in the General and Graduate Information Catalog, along with completing an advising sheet obtained from the College of Arts and Sciences Student Academic Services office.
