The Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) program cultivates well-rounded musicians, blending top-tier artistry with academic depth. Each curriculum prepares candidates for elite careers in performance, education, or composition. Typically, completing the DMA requires at least two years beyond a master's degree. The initial year involves full-time residency, with a minimum course load of 9 credits per semester. A summer session before residency is allowed.
