Our digital media and journalism program equips students for diverse careers in digital content creation, news broadcasting, sports coverage, or media business roles. The curriculum blends hands-on learning with academic instruction, enabling you to develop an impressive portfolio through internships and participation in our student-run media organizations: The Agency: A cross-disciplinary firm where students produce media content for both commercial and charitable clients. The Studio: A creative hub that produces television programs and digital series for our student television network (STN) and external partners. The Newsroom: A digital publication platform for reporting on campus events and Hartford community news. UH Hawks Production: A traveling broadcast unit where students create live sports coverage for online streaming platforms.
You can apply if you are currently enrolled in high school or secondary school, or if you have completed high school or secondary school, but have not started a degree.
You will be required to present the following results: 2.75 (out of 4.0); 3.75 (out of 5.0); 80% (out of 100); 70% (out of 100) India/Canada.
