Focused on more rigorous lab science preparation compared to the A.A. in Liberal Studies, these specialized tracks equip students for careers in biology, health sciences, radiology, or physical therapy. To earn an Associate in Science, General Sciences degree - indicating program completion - students must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA while completing a 60-credit academic program tailored to their chosen field. Note: Pass/No Pass physical education courses do not count toward the 60 credits required for the A.S. degree.
The health sciences track prepares Hillyer students for transfer into health sciences programs or the respiratory therapy major at the College of Education, Nursing, and Health Professions.
