Hartt's graduate diploma programs offer aspiring soloists advanced vocal training to enhance their professional aspirations in vocal performance. The program centers on rigorous vocal and language instruction tailored for soloists specializing in concert, chamber, opera, and oratorio performances. Students engage in private voice lessons, coaching sessions, language courses, diction studies, and participate in the graduate vocal seminar while performing in choral and orchestral productions. The seminar specifically prepares emerging artists for auditions at young artist programs, opera companies, and oratorio engagements, alongside presenting two annual graduate recitals. With reduced academic demands, this program enables students to focus exclusively on honing their performance skills.
