The Entomology Department provides diverse coursework and research opportunities for both Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Our mission is to equip students pursuing scientific careers in government, corporate, or academic settings with comprehensive training in insect biology. Our programs cover biological studies from molecular processes to entire ecosystems. Beyond foundational entomology techniques, we focus on specialized fields like Insect/Plant Relationships, Biological Pest Management, and Molecular Entomology. We're proud of our students' academic growth, research excellence, and publication achievements. Prospective students are welcome to tour our facilities and interact with faculty and current graduate students to evaluate our department firsthand.
The Master of Science curriculum requires completion of at least 30 graduate-level credit hours
