The Master of Science non-thesis track mandates at least 30 graduate credit hours, including 9 credits from core classes: Biological Oceanography (MARS 8010), Chemical Oceanography (MARS 8020), and Physical Oceanography (MARS 8030). Students can supplement their curriculum with graduate-level offerings from Marine Sciences and other disciplines. Instead of a traditional thesis, participants must complete either an internship or a data-focused project.
