Statement of Purpose
Statement of Purpose should summarize your career goals and how the degree program would help you attain those identified goals.
If applying to a MS-thesis or PhD program, ensure you describe your research interests and how your interests fit with a specific faculty member within the Department of Kinesiology.

Scores can be sent to UGA's Graduate School as a designated score recipient using code 5813.
Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in exercise science or a related field as well as a background in behavioral and biological sciences, including biopsychology, chemistry, biology, and physiology.
Admission to the program is competitive and considers a number of factors. Students with strong backgrounds in biopsychology and exercise science who have interests compatible with our ongoing research are given preference.
At a minimum, you must have:
A GRE score in at least the 50th percentile
An undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0
International students must have at least an 80 total score on the Internet Based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam, and at least a 20 in the speaking and writing sections.
Minimum IELTS score requirement: overall band-width of 6.5, with no single band (score) below 6.0
