The M.S. program in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a Civil Engineering specialization delivers advanced knowledge in the field through a challenging curriculum and cutting-edge research across two key domains: Structural/Geotechnical Engineering and Environment/Water Resources. The program facilitates groundbreaking research opportunities in areas including but not limited to: pavement materials (asphalt and concrete), infrastructure assessment and maintenance, bridge design and analysis, advanced testing methodologies, computational modeling of structures and materials, geotechnical transportation applications, hydrological systems, urban water management, environmental engineering processes, sustainable coastal/river engineering, fluid dynamics in environmental contexts, water resource strategy development, and interconnected infrastructure networks.
