The Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) is a one-year, cross-disciplinary program designed to equip you with technical skills for managing, evaluating, and deriving insights from large datasets in business settings. International students benefit from the program's STEM designation, qualifying them for a three-year U.S. work authorization after completing their degree.
Spanning two semesters (33 credit hours total), the MSBA curriculum builds proficiency in data gathering, storage, analysis, interpretation, and presentation. You'll master key programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python, while learning to handle massive datasets using platforms like Hadoop and SAS. Complementary business coursework in analytics, marketing, economics, and strategy teaches you how to transform data findings into actionable business decisions. Through the Capstone Project, you'll enhance leadership and collaboration abilities by solving real corporate data challenges in teams, culminating in presentations to business executives.
