Biochemical engineers play a crucial role in translating scientific breakthroughs, such as novel pharmaceuticals and biomaterials, into scalable production methods. The MS in Biochemical Engineering equips students with specialized training, teaching them to synthesize expertise across engineering, chemical sciences, and biology while developing capabilities in problem-solving, advanced data interpretation, and research communication. Completion of a B.S. and M.S. (for Ph.D. applicants) with minimum GPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) from an ABET accredited program or program in a related field. The average undergraduate GPA and graduate GPA of recent accepted students is 3.4 and 3.6, respectively.
