The Master of Public Health (MPH) program was created to meet the growing demand for skilled public health practitioners.
By combining academic study with hands-on fieldwork, MPH candidates gain the expertise needed to lead and serve in public health initiatives across Georgia, nationally, and internationally. This two-year program at the University of Georgia College of Public Health caters both to healthcare professionals seeking to enhance their capabilities and to students pursuing careers in public health.
Participants can specialize in one of seven focus areas: Biostatistics, Disaster Management, Environmental Health Science, Epidemiology, Gerontology, Health Policy and Management, or Health Promotion and Behavior. Additionally, the College provides several dual degree opportunities, enabling students to combine their MPH with another undergraduate or graduate degree in a complementary discipline.
