Cumulative GPA for all undergraduate courses should be 2.8 or above on a four-point scale
When all of the Graduate School's application materials have been received, they are reviewed by the Social Studies Education program faculty. The faculty may request additional materials from applicants before making a recommendation on the application. The faculty make a recommendation to the Department of Educational Theory and Practice's graduate coordinator, who in turn makes a recommendation to the Graduate School. The final decision on admissions is made by the Graduate School. Applicants and the department will receive notification directly from the Graduate School concerning a decision on acceptance.
Students who have completed an undergraduate degree with a GPA of 3.2 or above are exempt from the entrance exam requirement.
Minimum TOEFL score requirement: overall score of 80 with at least 20 on speaking and writing
Minimum IELTS score requirement: overall band-width of 6.5, with no single band (score) below 6.0
