The Master of Education in Learning, Design, and Technology equips you with cutting-edge technological skills to create and deliver educational content for K-12 settings. This program leads to an Instructional Technology Certification and is available at the Gwinnett location.
The M.Ed. in Learning, Design and Technology is available at both the Athens and Gwinnett campuses.
The Athens-based program focuses on research and prepares students for potential doctoral studies at the master's level.
At Gwinnett, the program features two specialization tracks. The Instructional Design & Development concentration (previously called Instructional Technology) teaches students to apply advanced computer and multimedia technologies across various educational environments, including K-12 schools, universities, and corporate training programs.
The School Library Media specialization, also offered at Gwinnett, develops professional competencies in managing and utilizing educational resources to address teaching challenges in schools. This Georgia Professional Standards Commission-approved program qualifies graduates for S5 certification as K-12 Library Media Specialists.
