Crop and soil experts play a vital role in sustaining global food production, animal feed, and textile materials while protecting our soil and water reserves. We aim to deliver top-tier academic programs for both undergraduate and graduate students, pioneer groundbreaking research in crop cultivation, soil management, turf science, and environmental studies, and offer exceptional support to our stakeholders. The Crop and Soil Sciences Department aligns with the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences' mission to: investigate, validate, and implement agricultural and environmental knowledge while sharing these findings through educational initiatives and community engagement.
