A specialized degree program concentrating on the food and agribusiness industry, highlighting the combination of economic, quantitative, and business analysis techniques for informed decision-making. The curriculum prioritizes case-based learning, research projects, management strategies, and analytical skills.
This program caters to students seeking focused education in agribusiness. It merges business and economic principles with agricultural sciences to develop practical solutions for industry challenges. Instead of a traditional thesis, students complete an internship and submit a technical report. Both master's and doctoral programs are available. The MS in Agricultural and Applied Economics and MS in Environmental Economics demand at least 27 course credits plus a 3-credit thesis. The Master of Agribusiness (MAB) requires 36 course credits along with a technical report instead of a thesis. For the PhD, students must complete 63 post-baccalaureate course credits, pass comprehensive exams, and defend a dissertation.
