Designed to develop leaders who can conserve and sustainably manage forests and natural resources, pioneer innovative resource restoration methods, and apply practical forestry and environmental knowledge.
A PhD is typically necessary for research roles, staff specialist positions, and almost always mandatory for academic faculty appointments. This degree represents focused education within a specific discipline. The program mandates a dissertation plus at least 30 consecutive course hours, with 16+ hours in graduate-level exclusive courses. Official GRE/TOEFL scores (international applicants only)
GRE scores must be sent to Graduate Admissions directly by the responsible testing agency. You MUST list UGA (ETS code: 5813) as an actual score recipient.
International applicants whose native language is not English must also send TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) scores to Graduate Admissions directly from the testing agency.
Transcripts
