An increasing number of firms now handle a substantial share of their financial operations across borders, as businesses increasingly seek overseas expansion to tap into new markets when local markets reach saturation. Even companies operating solely within the U.S. face competition from foreign imports and global labor forces. Consequently, large enterprises leveraging international financial opportunities gain a strategic advantage. UGA's Finance and International Business co-major equips students with comprehensive knowledge of global finance and commerce. The curriculum covers international financial systems, global business practices, cross-border legal agreements, corporate strategy, worldwide marketing, and related subjects. Additionally, students must complete an international experience component, which may include study abroad programs, overseas internships, or advanced foreign language studies.
