The Materials Science and Engineering Program provides two Master of Science (MS) degree options. The coursework-only MS Non-Thesis option doesn't require independent research. The MS in Materials Science & Engineering involves approximately 10 courses totaling 30 credits. The MSE curriculum features both foundational materials science courses and specialized offerings in biomaterials, ceramics, composites, electronic materials, and polymers. Students must complete five core courses in designated subjects along with five electives.
