Exercise Physiology examines how human and animal physiological systems adapt to physical activity. This interdisciplinary field connects fundamental life sciences with medical applications, serving clinical, general, and athletic populations.

The MS program involves conducting original research and writing a thesis, preparing students for research careers or doctoral studies.

This program aims to develop professionals capable of creating science-backed exercise initiatives for research, health preservation, cardiac risk assessment, and recovery. It prioritizes hands-on lab experience along with designing fitness and rehabilitation protocols.

Core studies focus on cardiovascular, respiratory, and metabolic adaptations during exercise and sports training. Graduate-level classes in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology combine theoretical instruction with practical lab work. Supplementary courses apply exercise physiology concepts to clinical, community, and wellness environments, including fitness assessment and exercise program development.
