The UF Agronomy Department provides numerous academic pathways for both M.S. and Ph.D. candidates. We seek passionate, driven student leaders eager to tackle current and emerging issues in agricultural and natural ecosystems. Those pursuing an M.S. can select between thesis and non-thesis tracks, with options to study on-campus or entirely online. M.S. thesis and Ph.D. candidates perform innovative research under the guidance of our distinguished faculty, utilizing state-of-the-art labs and field sites across Florida and globally. With faculty leading varied research initiatives, students gain a comprehensive, hands-on educational experience. Our professors collaborate closely with students to design customized programs that foster teamwork in research while advancing career growth.

Qualification Requirements

A recognized baccalaureate, graduate or professional degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or a comparable degree from an international institution.
Applicants with a bachelor's degree only, a minimum grade point average of B (3.0), calculated from all grades and credits after the semester where the applicant reached 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours is required. For applicants from countries where English is not the official language, a minimum score on one of these English Language Skills tests, IELTS - 6.0,TOEFL IBT- 80, PBT- 550.
