Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum 3.0 GPA for the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework.
UF Graduate School Application: The application will require input of personal information, previous coursework, and other information.
C.V./Resume: The CV/Resume should contain all pertinent information regarding education, work experience, research experience, publications/presentations, and service and leadership roles. There is no page limit for the CV/Resume.
Statement of Purpose: The statement of purpose should outline your career objectives and detail how you believe those the philosophy and focus of the program you have selected will help you achieve these goals. If applying to the PhD program, you should also indicate your research interests and faculty you are interested in working with. The statement of purpose should not be used to repeat information that is already available on your CV unless it helps to explain why you think our program is a fit for you. The statement should be no longer than one page, single spaced, 11 point font, 1 inch margins.
Statement of Previous Training and Preparation (PhD applicants only): The statement should summarize the skills you have obtained during your preparation for your selected graduate degree that will enable you to succeed in our program. This should not be a list, but a narrative that describes your previous training and experience and how you can apply your skills to your graduate program. Experiences can include, but are not limited to, specific coursework, research experience, previous work experience, and other additional trainings. The statement should be no longer than one page, single spaced, 11 point font, 1 inch margins.
Letters of Recommendation: Arrange to have 3 reference letters submitted. At least two should be from former professors. If you have been out of school for over 5 years, 3 letters from employers are acceptable.
Official Transcripts: Send Official Transcripts to UF.
For applicants from countries where English is not the ofcial language, a minimum score on one of these English Language Skills tests, IELTS - 6.0,TOEFL IBT- 80, PBT- 550.
