Learning mathematics cultivates essential abilities including analytical reasoning, effective verbal and written expression, constructing sound logical arguments, conceptual abstract thinking, problem identification and resolution, data interpretation, evaluating mathematical models, technical and computational competence, and collaborative teamwork. These highly sought-after skills make mathematics graduates attractive to employers across diverse industries.
Designed for aspiring graduate students in mathematics and dedicated learners with a profound passion for the subject, the Mathematics program equips students with expertise in calculus, differential equations, advanced calculus, linear algebra, and abstract algebra, while introducing them to additional mathematical disciplines. Participants will master reading and creating mathematical proofs, operating within abstract mathematical frameworks, and applying mathematical modeling. The curriculum also develops students' capacity to comprehend new mathematical concepts and to formulate mathematical models and proofs.
Students must have completed a secondary and college or university credentials from non-U.S. institutions.
The university will require the following minimum scores on the redesigned SAT: SAT Reading = 24, Writing and Language = 25 and Math = 24. On the ACT, a minimum score of 19 on the Reading section and 19 on the Math section.
Minimum scores requirements are as follows:
