Construction Management students can choose to graduate with a heavy construction emphasis. Those who complete this option will be awarded a certificate from the Rinker School upon graduation. Students must declare their intent to pursue the heavy/civil emphasis by their Junior II semester. This emphasis will not appear on diplomas or transcripts. Required courses for the heavy/civil emphasis include: BCN 3240C Equipment/Methods Heavy Construction and BCN 4880 Management Heavy Construction. Additionally, students must complete BCN 4787C Construction Capstone Project with a Heavy Construction focus.

Qualification Requirements

At least three full years of your most recent secondary school transcript(s), including courses in progress (grades 9, 10 and 11 + senior schedule) in both the native language of instruction and a word for word certified English translation (if applicable).
All applicants must submit test scores from the SAT, ACT and/or CLT. UF will superscore (take the highest scores for each subsection) to create the highest possible total score. UF does not require or encourage applications to complete the essay portion of the ACT.
