The Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSAc) is a four-year undergraduate program offering comprehensive training in accounting and business principles. With its emphasis on conceptual understanding, the curriculum equips students to thrive in dynamic business settings while laying the groundwork for advanced studies. BSAc participants can apply for accelerated graduate admission through the university's 3/2 Program. Graduates of this dual program fulfill the educational prerequisites for taking the CPA exam and obtaining licensure in Florida.
UF's accounting program began in 1923 with its inaugural accounting course. Now operating as one of America's rare independent accounting schools, the Fisher School of Accounting has established a unique presence both within the University of Florida and among elite business programs nationwide.
Students must have completed a secondary and college or university credentials from non-U.S. institutions.
The university will require the following minimum scores on the redesigned SAT: SAT Reading = 24, Writing and Language = 25 and Math = 24. On the ACT, a minimum score of 19 on the Reading section and 19 on the Math section.
Minimum scores requirements are as follows:
