The Keyboard Department at the University of Florida School of Music offers gifted students a rigorous, inspiring, and deeply fulfilling program under the guidance of passionate artist-educators. For Organ, Harpsichord, Carillon, and Sacred Music studies, students at all levels benefit from comprehensive resources including the 99-rank Andrew Anderson Memorial Organ in University Auditorium, tracker-action practice organs, a 61-bell carillon with practice clavier in Century Tower, and an expanding assortment of historical keyboards featuring five harpsichords and an 1860s Chickering grand piano.

Qualification Requirements

At least three full years of your most recent secondary school transcript(s), including courses in progress (grades 9, 10 and 11 + senior schedule) in both the native language of instruction and a word for word certified English translation (if applicable).
All applicants must submit test scores from the SAT, ACT and/or CLT. UF will superscore (take the highest scores for each subsection) to create the highest possible total score. UF does not require or encourage applications to complete the essay portion of the ACT.
