The Keyboard Department at the University of Florida School of Music offers gifted students a rigorous, inspiring, and deeply fulfilling program under the guidance of passionate artist-educators. As an All-Steinway institution, the School of Music provides exceptional performance spaces equipped with top-tier concert instruments. Practice facilities and studios also feature pristine, well-maintained instruments.
For Organ, Harpsichord, Carillon, and Sacred Music studies, students at all levels benefit from comprehensive resources including the 99-rank Andrew Anderson Memorial Organ in University Auditorium, tracker-action practice organs, a 61-bell carillon with practice clavier in Century Tower, and an expanding assortment of historical keyboards featuring five harpsichords and an 1860s Chickering grand piano.
