Home to one of America's longest-running photography degree programs at both graduate and undergraduate levels, we leverage exceptional faculty knowledge in photographic techniques alongside specialized expertise in visual studies, critical theory, relational aesthetics, video, sculpture, and performance. Our program fosters students' artistic development through meaningful discussions that align with individual creative goals, faculty expertise, and institutional assets. We especially support work exploring emerging directions in imagery and media, grounded in deep understanding of photography's historical, theoretical, and cultural dimensions as it shapes contemporary visual culture.
