The Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration program (BABA-GBA) integrates fundamental business classes with specialized coursework from various UF departments. Students can select from more than 70 specialization areas, such as foreign languages, media studies, hospitality management, legal studies, and health sciences.
This general studies track is perfect for those seeking a solid business education while exploring other academic interests. With universal tracking, core business classes, and business electives, students complete over 40 credit hours in business subjects. The specialization courses allow learners to gain expertise in a complementary discipline of their choice.
This major particularly benefits students planning to attend graduate school after completing their undergraduate degree. Those aiming for careers in law, medicine, or other non-business fields often choose general studies to fulfill prerequisite coursework for their intended graduate programs outside the business domain.
Students must have completed a secondary and college or university credentials from non-U.S. institutions.
The university will require the following minimum scores on the redesigned SAT: SAT Reading = 24, Writing and Language = 25 and Math = 24. On the ACT, a minimum score of 19 on the Reading section and 19 on the Math section.
