Cello students at Lamont learn from Professor Matthew Zalkind and draw upon Professor Heather Hadley's teaching expertise. Zalkind, an award-winning performer who claimed prizes at prestigious competitions like Moscow's International Tchaikovsky Competition, brings extensive experience as both a former Harlem String Quartet member and international soloist. His comprehensive background enables him to guide students toward technical excellence while cultivating their creative expression.

Bachelors degree All graduate applicants must hold an earned baccalaureate from a regionally accredited college or university or the recognized equivalent from an international institution
