The Master of Laws in American Law Practice (LLM) program is designed for internationally educated lawyers seeking to expand, refresh, or specialize their legal education.
Participants in the American Law Practice program join regular JD courses at Denver Law, gaining full exposure to the U.S. legal education system. With intentionally limited class sizes, the program prioritizes personalized instruction to support each student's scholarly achievements and career growth.
Important notice: While the LLM in American Legal Practice may fulfill some requirements for Colorado bar exam eligibility, final determination rests solely with the Colorado Supreme Court. Prospective students should carefully examine the Rules Governing Admission to the Practice of Law in Colorado, available on the state Supreme Court's website. Note that applicants from civil law countries face distinct requirements compared to those from common law jurisdictions when seeking Colorado bar admission.
