Global Economic Affairs breaks from traditional economics programs. We've replaced abstract textbook theories with practical insights into how economies truly function. This program emphasizes political economy – the dynamic interplay between economic forces, political systems, and policy decisions. Our curriculum equips students to tackle modern economic dilemmas, covering international trade, monetary systems, domestic political-economic dynamics, development drivers, inequality, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and other critical issues. The program bridges theory with real-world policy applications, balancing qualitative and quantitative approaches.

In Global Economic Affairs, you'll work alongside professors to investigate subjects such as...

Current transformative patterns in worldwide economics
Globalization's varied impacts on national sovereignty, policy flexibility, and domestic affairs
Fundamental factors influencing economic growth and its repercussions
Interconnected economic, political, environmental, and societal results
Corporate governance's significance in international relations
Domestic and global policy ripple effects
How international economic institutions shape inclusion, fairness, and access to opportunities
