Our Master of Arts (MA) in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies expands upon the certificate program with an extra 15 quarter-hour curriculum (three terms) offering an in-depth exploration of equity, design thinking, and action research. The ELPS MA program builds on the principal licensure curriculum (Colorado-approved program for Principal License) through supplementary courses that strengthen skills in entrepreneurship, systems thinking, cultural leadership, improvement strategies, resource allocation, innovation, and transformative leadership. This program is recognized by the Colorado Department of Education as a Turnaround Leadership Development Program.

Qualification Requirements

All applicants must have a completed bachelor's degree earned from an accredited institution prior to beginning the program. The University of Denver requires that applicants have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
The minimum undergraduate GPA for admission consideration for graduate study is a cumulative 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
Minimum TOEFL Score: 80 (iBT) or 550 (paper-based)
