The Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) specialization is structured to fulfill the qualifications for individuals pursuing licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC). This program consists of 90 quarter credits. Alongside core counseling classes, assessment training, and studies in diversity and social justice, participants will undertake supervised practical experience through a practicum and internship. Graduates of this program, following two years of post-Master's professional practice, become eligible to apply for Colorado's Licensed Professional Counselor credential.
