Viola students at Lamont join a supportive, close community focused on artistic mastery. They learn under the guidance of Colorado Symphony's principal violist, Professor Basil Vendryes. With an impressive career spanning the San Francisco Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic, and New York Philharmonic, Professor Vendryes has also graced international stages as a soloist. His recording credits include major labels like Columbia, Phillips, and RCA, along with chamber music releases for Ariel Music, Cadenza Music, and Naxos.
