The oboe department takes pride in providing comprehensive support and abundant performance chances through various ensembles like orchestra, wind ensemble, chamber groups, and the Modern Music ensemble. Quarterly, students benefit from personalized guidance in both instrument-focused studio sessions and combined woodwind performance classes. Professor Wisekal serves as Principal Oboist for both the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra and Crested Butte Music Festival, with prior experience as Associate Principal Oboist for the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra.
