Graduate students can pursue a combined MBA and M.S. in finance degree. This program allows you to complete both the MBA and STEM-designated M.S. in finance with just 59 total credits. The M.S. in finance curriculum equips students with both theoretical foundations and practical expertise to become creative, knowledgeable finance leaders. Coursework focuses on financial theories and analytical techniques used in corporate finance, investment valuation, financial modeling, asset management, financial services, risk management, and corporate governance. Students also benefit from hands-on learning in the Michael and Rosann Geltzeiler Trading Center, working with live financial data streams. This comprehensive preparation makes graduates highly sought after by corporations, financial institutions, consulting firms, and government organizations. The program also offers flexibility for those considering doctoral studies. Full-time students can finish the 30-credit degree in nine months through the accelerated fall admission track (for those with strong finance backgrounds) or complete it within 18 months in the standard full-time option.
