The Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSEG) provides an accelerated 4+1 BS/MMSE program designed for exceptional undergraduate students at the University of Delaware. This initiative enables participants to obtain both a Bachelor's degree from collaborating departments (such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, and Civil & Environmental Engineering in the College of Engineering, along with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences) and a Master's in Materials Science and Engineering (MMSE) through five years of full-time study at the university.
