The interdisciplinary Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) provides combined 41 Bachelor's and MSDS programs enabling students to earn both their undergraduate degree from various departments and the MSDS within five years of full-time study. Undergraduate options span the Departments of Mathematical Sciences, Physics and Astronomy in the College of Arts and Sciences, along with Computer and Information Sciences, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering. Students must fulfill all requirements for both degrees, with up to six credits of graduate coursework from their undergraduate major counting toward both programs.
