Psychology explores the fundamental workings of the mind, brain, and resulting behaviors. Our undergraduate students gain insight into core principles governing human and animal behavior, the research techniques used to establish these principles, and practical applications of this knowledge.
The secondary social studies education program offers seven major options: Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. We prepare middle and high school educators devoted to shaping future generations through social studies instruction. Our alumni strive to guide young people toward becoming well-informed, involved, and compassionate members of society - the very individuals who will shape tomorrow's history. We aim to motivate aspiring teachers to educate with both enthusiasm and expertise, ensuring every student finds their place in the tapestry of time. This dedication, paired with our program's high standards, allows graduates to obtain teaching positions across the Eastern Seaboard, nationwide, and internationally.
